Featured Vendor: Ava Sophia Designs
This passed May my family was blessed with another baby, beautiful little girl. It wasn’t until we had her that I realized I could be putting all of my knowledge of sewing, designing and millinery to use by creating baby headbands. So, I set out to find some supplies and on the eve of my daughter’s 3-month pictures, I made my first headbands. Pleased with my last minute results, I improved my designs, came up with a few more and Ava Sophia Designs was up and running, just in time for the winter craft bazaar.
My love for all things crafty does not stop at baby headbands by any means. I make hair accessories for all ages. I also just started making sashes for special occasions and Maternity photo shoots. Up next, wedding veils and fascinators, pillowcase dresses, dirndls and a line of baby boy accessories!
As you can see, I have used Ava Sophia Design's products in my sessions. They are a perfect accessory and made very well.

SutherBee is a story of 2 military wives/stay at home momma’s who became fast friends and bonded over a few years. Our families became very close, and shared many experiences. Megan and I had been crafting for many years, each of us doing our own things. It was one more thing we shared. About eight months ago, I started buying bows for my, then five year old, daughter. Megan discovered this and sat me down, saying…Hey, crazy! We can do this ourselves!. We began making bows for our daughters and discovered that lots of our friends wanted them, too. SutherBee was born and we have loved it! We each have added things besides hair accessories; things that we think make special gifts. We offer custom picture frames, hair accessories of all kinds (from newborns to adults) and very unique custom jewelry.
